Hey there! welcome to my little corner on the web, my name is Jasparina Mahyat and that's all you need to know lol!! there's nothing much to say except that I live in Singapore, born and raised, I've been married to hubby, Patrick, for 20 years and we have a 19 year old son named Jasrie. As you can see from the websites that I maintain, music and movies are my passion and making website is one of my favourite pastimes :-) If you are a fan of any of the subjects that I've created a site for I hope you will like and enjoy the site. Linkin Park
Emotionally, my Linkin Park site has been the most rewarding of all my fan sites, I got to meet the band personally during the meet n greet session when they were in Singapore for a concert in 2003, one of the best concerts I've ever been to and I got to meet Mike again when he and his side project, Fort Minor came to town recently, awesome show too! I can say I'm one of the lucky fans who've known LP since the Hybrid Theory album, I wanted so much to have my own LP site when the album was released but was so busy with my Lord of the Rings project at the time so it wasn't until 2003 when I heard that they're coming to Singapore that I created LPTimes.com. The band was gonna tour South-East Asia and I wanted to bring all the news, videos and reports from Asia to the US fans, I knew I could do it because of the resources I have from running my other sites. I can honestly say that LP Times has become one of the great sources of info for anything Linkin Park and it's one of my most successful fan sites.
Highlights: Meeting the band and seeing them live in concert definitely. Another highlight is having LP Times listed on a fan sites link on Mike's Fort Minor site, I know that the band are aware of my site and to receive a mention is really an honour. Thanks guys!

Gabriel Batistuta
Gabriel Batistuta.net is the second fan site that I created, there was no question in my mind that I wanted to create a site dedicated to Gabriel after watching him in World Cup '94 and I have been a fan of the Argentina team since Kempes and Maradona days so I thought it's the best place to cover the World Cup for Argentina while following Gabriel's career. Maintaining this site has been one emotional roller coaster ride after another, from Gabriel success with his club Fiorentina, his goals against Arsenal and Manchester United in the Champions Leauge, his injuries, him winning the Italian Serie A league with Roma, his transfer to Inter Milan and Al Arabi to the World Cup campaigns, from the highly tense and emotional quarterfinal against England in France '98 to the dreadful Japan/Korea 2002 first round exit..., I mean the highs were really high and the lows were really low.
Highlights: Getting an invitation to attend the launch of Gabriel's official website in Florence, Italy. I was one of the staff in charge of the English news for his site and Andrea the site manager invited me to the party but of course being stuck here in Singapore I couldn't afford to go. And sadly the site has stopped running after Gabriel left Fiorentina. Gabriel may have retired from professional football but I'm still an Argentina fan and there's still the idea of coaching the national team so the site will be around for a long time :-)

Orlando Bloom
Of all the fan sites I've created, this is the most successful one, while some of my other sites took years to get a million hits, this one took only 6 months! part of it was due to the Lord of the Rings phenomenon. The site is also the most costly of all, had to move server twice due to heavy traffic. I was a huge fan of the book, the idea of creating a fan site for Orlando didn't cross my mind until I saw The Fellowship of the Ring on the big screen. At first I thought of creating a LOTR site but there are already a few good ones so I thought I would just concentrate on one actor and Legolas is my favourite character in the book :-) I also thought I would stop after the third film but then Orlando signed on for the Pirates of the Caribbean project and now I'm stuck because of my love for the Pirates franchise and the fact that the fans need me to continue :-) Did I mention that this is also the most exhaustive site of all? every year, come movie release time, it's crazy as hell!
Hightlights: Being interviewed by TIMES magazine and USA Today as well as getting mention in various magazines and in an unofficial autobiography. OBM is also one of the fan sites featured in the Ringers: Lord of the Fans DVD. But the best of all is getting a Legolas photo personally signed by Orlando :-)

Hrithik Roshan
For those who don't know, Hrithik Roshan is one of the most talented Bollywood actors today. He is one of those great actors who can express any kind of emotions just through his eyes. My story with Hrithik is quite funny, back in the '70s and '80s I used to watch Rakesh's (Hrithik's dad) films, he wasn't a superstar like Amitabh Bachchan but a decent actor. I love to watch Rakesh's beautiful eyes, little did I know that some 15 years later I will see those same captivating eyes in his son, Hrithik and become his fan as well. Hrithik Roshan Online is my new and latest baby, it's a simple website with news updates and an archive of his works, I have no plans to make it as extensive as my other websites so I concentrate mainly on the media like videos and audios. It also serves as a storage space, sharing bandwidth with another Hrithik fan site.
Highlights: Well, I haven't met Hrithik or receive anything personally from him or anything like that but if I have to give one highlight from running this website I would say that I'm happy that I was there when his film, 'Krrish' broke all box office records, grossing over Rs 100 crore worldwide in its first two weeks and emerged as the fastest money-spinner of recent times. Those who know Hrithik and what he has gone through in his young career would feel very proud of what he and his dad has achieved with 'Krrish'.

Steve Perry
What can I say about Steve Perry, he's the man whose voice saved my life. I can't thank him enough for being there for me in my darkest moments in life, every time I talk about Steve I will have tears in my eyes, for his voice and his music were the only thing that kept me going during my most difficult times when I was a teenager. When I got on the net in 1996, the first website that I created was Journey Fans Network, it was my main goal after I got online. I still remember it was a very simple site and very amateur looking lol!! I didn't know anything about making website, everything I know now is self taught and by trial and error, very frustrating at times I tell you but I'm a pro now ha! ha! I learn alot while running Journey Fans Network and made a lot of friends from all over the world, something I would never have imagined. Sadly though Journey decided to break up again and I must say I was really disappointed because to me Journey is not the same without Steve so after much thought I decided to close Journey Fans Network and create a small site dedicated to just Steve. Another reason is also because Steve has kinda retired so there's not much for me to do and it won't take much of my time :-)
Highlights: If there's one regret in my life, it would be not seeing Journey live in concert or meeting Steve. I'm still waiting for the day I will get to meet Steve because I want to thank him personally for saving my life. I did receive a photo of Journey personally signed by the band and a separate handwritten letter from their new singer Steve Augeri. I also received an autographed photo of former member Steve Smith (drummer) so you see I have something from every member except Steve Perry... sad isn't it? :-( but I'm still hoping and I won't stop believin' :-)

Daniel Radcliffe
The reason I created this site is solely to contribute my service and expertise to the Harry Potter fansites family. There are already a few HP and Dan fansites out there who are doing a really great job in providing news and info but they lack in the media department so that's what I concentrate on for my site. I thought with my huge resources and capability to grab video clips that are online and offline, I can offer my help and share the vids with them. Like the Lord of the Rings, I'm a huge fan of the Harry Potter book, when I learned that they are going to make a film out of the series I was a little sceptical, I mean like everybody else I'm very protective of Harry but the minute Dan was cast as Harry he was everything I imagined Harry would be. Because the first Harry Potter film was released at the same time as The Fellowship of the Ring, I gave up the idea of making a HP site because I couldn't find the time to maintain both so it wasn't until after The Return of the King that I started Dan Radcliffe Online.
Highlights: Seeing the success of the franchise and watching everybody's favourite wizards grow up in front of you :-) it's such a pleasure to see Dan, Rupert and Emma becoming young adults in front of your eyes. I can't imagine anyone else playing Harry, Ron and Hermione than these three fine actors.
